Melodifestivalen 2021 will go on with a few changes due to the current pandemic that the world is currently dealing with. Sadly, Melodifestivalen will remain in Stockholm as of 2021, no tour will be organized and all shows are staged to be organized solely in the Swedish capital city. Also, the audience will be limited to participants and organizers, depending how the pandemic evolves. As we are currently in November, the final list of participants and song titles are set to be revealed at the end of this month. Until then, we dive into exciting rumors and we found out that apparently The Mamas (2020 Winners) and Dotter are set to make a comeback next year. The Mamas’s “Move” was this year’s winner with 137 points ahead of Dotter and “Bulletproof” on 136 points.
SVT also revealed that the first 14 songs were selected at the end of September by a special jury. They finally decided to shed a bit more light behind the scenes of Melodifestivalen by starting an Instagram and Twitter account that reveal exciting details on how Mello is organized.
